hey y'all,
happy mother's day to all you moms out there ... and you know who you are!
just wanted to share a few pics of my mom, alice rose. i could tell you so many stories of how she made me laugh, cry and sigh over the years ... but i'd be here all day. and none of us wants that, do we?
mainly, i wanted y'all to know that alice rose was a sweet, affectionate lady, who loved and adored her children. we lost her the week after mother's day, 1993. i will always miss her ... but i feel her presence every second of every day, guiding me in this forever journey of motherhood.
also, i want to share some quotes that i've read recently, about mothers ... some sentimental, some funny, some painful. but isn't that the reality of motherhood, after all?
love and hugs,
terry lee (mother of three wonderful, intelligent, funny, beautiful people: matthew, tara and alan)
